St. Patrick’s Day 2026

The Moran School of Irish Dance celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with performances all over Oakland County, with many performing for the very first time! We started with the Royal Oak St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which had beautiful sunny skies to help offset the near freezing temperatures.

Over the next few days, dancers visited Rose Senior Living in Farmington Hills and Pomeroy Senior Living in Rochester.

On St. Patrick’s Day, we started the morning with a performance at Greenfield Elementary for their kindergartners and preschoolers. Two of our performers are also Greenfield Elementary students, so that performance was extra special for them!

We finished the day with a performance at the Bloomfield Township Public Library. Our largest group of performers yet, we also got the crowd on their feet to learn a traditional céilí dance.

Our dancers did an incredible job with their performances, especially our many dancers who were performing for the very first time! Thank you to Rose Senior Living, Pomeroy Senior Living, Greenfield Elementary, and BTPL for hosting our dancers.
